If she is under 18 call child services. If over 18 call the medical board of your state (look online for the number).

Child protective services could investigate that and will keep you anonymous.

You need to report him to the medical board. I’m not sure if it is even ethical to prescribe to your own daughter.

That’s so messed up of you. First of all, I doubt the doctor is trying to harm his daughter. He is a doctor he knows better than you if she needs the adderall or not. He could lose his license and you would destroy their family for something like that. How happy will your gf be when her dad loses his license and the family no longer has an income? You’re sick. You didn’t even think of the consequences. What makes you think that you know better?

Definitely call the medical board for a review. If he is prescribing medication, it should be well documented. If it is not, then there is an issue. Why is she being prescribed the medication?

Also call child protective services or the Department of Human Services. Tell them you think there is a conflict of interest in her father prescribing her meds. Ask them to have another doctor give a second opinion.

my goodness. Perhaps speak to ur gf 1st. How does she feel about the situation? If you can’t speak to her def. report it. That person who said it is sick of you and you’ll ruin their family is delusional. If I was in that situation I’d much rather have the Dr reported and him lose his license than have a criminal or at least a huge conflict of interest writing prescriptions.
This proves that Drs are too precription happy these days and write them pretty much for the flippin’ fun.

It is disgraceful. Please report it.

Just how old is your Girlfriend? If she’s an adult and is suffering from either of the two “illnesses” that Adderall is prescribed for than she may actually be worse off, off of it than on it. Adderall is prescribed for ADHD and narcolepsy. Maybe the medication is working and you see her as suffering from depression because she is no longer not focused. Unless you are a doctor, you really need to think before you act. Depression is a known side effect. It’s not deliberately causing her harm. People manage day to day life just fine even with symptoms of depression. Maybe you should just urge your girlfriend to seek professional counseling instead of seriously harming her.

ADD: Being that its an amphetamine, you need to be watching to make sure that she is taking the correct dosage. If she starts and stops or takes too much, it will throw her into a depressive state. Depression is not a side effect of the drug in children. Uncontrollable laughter or uncontrollable crying are the side effects in children. It has nothing to do with depression.

For those who are telling this person to report the doctor have no clue what you are talking about. You could seriously damage a persons practice and life because someone who’s concerned, yet uneducated, decides to take “control” of a situation.
